The BNMS 42nd Annual Spring Meeting will take place from 11th -14th May 2014 at Harrogate International Centre. Building on the success of last year’s meeting in Brighton, the Scientific Programme features an annual lecture, a highlights lecture, and invited lectures/CME programme, encompassing many interesting topics.

on Conventional Radionuclide and Hybrid (SPECT/CT & PET/CT) imaging.

The scientific programme consists of several new CME sessions on (a) Infection/Inflammation imaging, (b) Setting up a radiosynovectomy service; and (c) Patient Advocacy. BNMS Craft groups will also hold sessions: medical physicists, clinical practitioners, nurses, and radiopharmaceutical scientists and the BNMS Molecular Radiotherapy Group.
The Annual Lecture will be delivered by Prof Osman Ratib from Geneva on “Clinical Perspectives on PET/MRI”. Further, there is a dedicated training/refresher sessions on CT Anatomy for Clinical practitioners and an update on IRMER for the Nursing Group. An Interesting Neurology CME session is sponsored by Lilly with focus on Dementia. Dr Anil Mishra from India, will also update us on new Radiopharmaceuticals. Finally, in addition to interesting oral and poster presentations, the highlights lecture will be given by Dr Simon Hughes from Nottingham.
The nuclear medicine industry is an important supporter of the annual BNMS conference, with 29 booths in the exhibition hall. Lunches and coffee breaks will take place in the exhibition hall which further increase the opportunities for discussion with the vendors.

The BNMS Exhibition will be held on two days this year, Monday 12th May and Tuesday 13th May only.
There will be no exhibition on Wednesday 14th May.
