The Professional Standards and Education Committee of the British Nuclear Medicine Society would like to thank everyone who participated in, and contributed to, the BNMS 2007 Survey of UK Nuclear Medicine Departments.

We had an extremely good response rate of 77%, with 179 sites out of 231 providing us with a return.

Work on analysing the data is now under way and, once completed, the results will be published.

We are also grateful for those of you who took the time to give comments and feedback on the design and functionality of the survey.  We are now working on a new and improved survey for future iterations that will not only address any ambiguities or omissions that were identified in the original set of questions, but will also utilise more user-friendly software to make the work of responding both quicker and easier for you.
