NEW TOPIC SESSION – THE FUKUSHIMA NUCLEAR ACCIDENT
Everyone will be aware of the situation in Japan as a result of the huge earthquake and tsunami.  Compounding this misery is the radiological and nuclear disaster at the Fukushima Dai-ichi power station. To help us to make some sense out of this terrible situation the IRPA13 Congress will be adding a session on the accident, its radiological consequences, and the management of these consequences. This will become Topic Area 12 of the Congress.

THE CONGRESS
Attendance at the congress will provide delegates the opportunity to present and gain the latest information on the state-of-the-art in radiation protection.
