Please save the date for the upcoming joint meeting, organised by the Medical Physics Group and the Nuclear Industry GroupMore details can be found here. Registration will open next week!

The event aims to bring together all strands of the lifecycle of nuclear medicine, allowing for interested researchers, clinicians, scientists, industry stakeholders and members of the public to get a better picture of this wide and varied field. Topics for discussion include:

• Production of relevant nuclides within reactors and accelerators.
• The preparation of nuclides to be used as radiopharmaceuticals.
• The techniques and uses of these species in medicine.
• The safe disposal of radioisotopes.

The Medical Physics and Nuclear Industry Groups, believe this one-day event to be a rare opportunity for the varied topics related to the use of radionuclides in medicine to be presented and discussed in a high-level cross-sector manner. The event will also provide opportunities for current and future challenges in the field to be discussed.
