We offer a three-day course for the novel technology of PET-MR. The first day will review either PET or MR theory separately for people with a background in the respective other modality. We will then cover the new simultaneous PET-MR scanners in terms of technology and applications. There will be lectures, scanner visits, interactive Active Learning sessions, workshops and sessions on reading scans together with clinicians. Feedback from the June 2019 course: • Very useful overview of both modalities for a range of individuals from different backgrounds • Excellent for researchers who would like to do PET-MR work • Excellent organisation & teaching at multi-level approach. Fantastic memory refresh / consolidation quizes. . • An excellent and informative academic activity that can be comprehended by participants from very different backgrounds. • Very complete course, but for someone with no MR experience or background. • Well organised and structured. Highly recommended. • Comprehensive, from both technical to clinical • It was extremely useful and really helped improve my PET/MR knowledge • Excellent course! I learnt a lot! • Excellent course! Great to get USB. • Very, very informative, digestable materials, great lectures, very interactive and well-structured. • Perfect attendee numbers for great idea-exchanges + networking. I loved it! • Was a wonderful experience to be back at the center where I had my first PET/CT Training in 2007. • Thank you so much! I really enjoyed the course. • The visits to the departments really add up to the course. Good refreshments and very organised arrangements. • The combination of Science and clinical application was great, a real synergy. • Placing the physics with clinical discussion was great. Also interactive session & explanations. Great to give PET focus group highlight CT end when some were in MRI focus group. • All the speakers were really enthusiastic about their topics and made it very engaging! • It was near perfect. I do not think you could change much.
