A new membership category for trainees will be launched in January 2019 when the new BNMS website is launched.

Open to trainees including STPS and those enrolled on a PhD or MD or PG course involving radioisotopes, who are normally resident in the UK or Ireland. Applicants should be enrolled in a recognised higher professional (ST3 and above) training scheme and possess a training number or be a research fellow. Support for membership will be required from a consultant member of the Society along with your national training number and evidence from your supervisor of your status and the end of your training date. On the completion of training you will be upgraded to consultant membership. It is not necessary to complete a new application form or obtain new sponsorship but you must inform the BNMS of your appointment.

By becoming a trainee member of the BNMS for only £54 a year, trainees gain full membership benefits including access to all materials in the BNMS members’ area and online access to NMC and a specially reduced registration fee for the BNMS Annual Spring Meeting.
