COVID-19 - BNMS Spring 2020 UPDATE
After careful consideration of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the decision to cancel the BNMS Annual Spring Meeting, originally scheduled for 18 – 20 May in Liverpool. See below instructions for delegates, speakers and exhibitors who support our meetings.
We're very sad to be cancelling our annual meeting and we hope that you will be able to join us in Belfast in 2021.
We still plan to hold our Autumn 2020 meeting which will take place in Leeds on 23rd September.

Instructions for Invited speakers, abstract authors, delegates and exhibitors attending our Spring 2020 Meeting.
Invited speakers We are intending to carry over the programme put in place for Spring 2020 to next year's annual meeting to be held in Belfast 24 - 26 May 2021. We'll be in touch with you to confirm
if you are happy to present your talk next year instead. If you don't hear from us please get in touch with email@example.com to confirm your attendance. We will contact
you about your programme slot day/timings later in the year as this may change.
All accepted abstracts will be carried over to Spring 2021. You are invited to log in to the abstract submission system with your original login details and indicate if you are happy to carry your abstract across to next year or if you would
prefer to withdraw it.
Instructions for Abstract Authors
Please log into the online abstract platform here https://app.oxfordabstracts.com/login with your original login details to confirm your decision regarding presentation number (NB. If you wish to amend/update your abstract you will need to withdraw from the 2020 meeting and resubmit this in the 2021 abstract submission round which will open in autumn 2020). Once you are logged in you will see your abstract
submission/s as incomplete and a pencil to the right of this. Please select the pencil and let us know how your decision regarding this abstract. We will contact you about your programme slot day/timings later in the year as this may
Your registration will automatically be transferred to the Spring 2021 meeting and no further action is required. Invoices issued for the 2020 meeting will be valid for your 2021 registration. We will also honour this year's registration
fees for all delegates who carry over their registration to next year even if you haven't paid yet. However, payment must be received by the early bird deadline next year which will be around 1st May 2021. 2021 pricing will apply for
all new registrations when 2021 registration opens later this year. If you wish to cancel your registration you please let us know by email Charlotte Weston firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm your request. If you have already forwarded your invoice to your accounts department, please contact them to halt payment. Where
registration has already been paid for and cancellation is requested, a full refund will be issued.
Your exhibition booking will automatically be transferred to the Spring 2021 meeting which will be held in Belfast on 24 - 26 May. If you are happy to carry your booking over to 2021 no further action is required. We will also honour
this year's exhibition fees for all exhibitors who carry over their stand booking and sponsorship orders to next year even if you haven't paid your invoice yet. Invoices issued for the 2020 meeting will be valid for you exhibiting in 2021 We will contact you in October/November with a floor plan to allow you to choose your new booth position, before the invitation for new exhibition bookings is circulated to new exhibitors. 2021 pricing will apply for all new exhibition
bookings when 2021 invitation to exhibit is released later this year. If you wish to cancel your booking please email Charlotte Weston email@example.com to
