Abstract Related Awards

Brand new prizes for 2023

Ignac Fogelman Memorial Prize - This is a new award which will be awarded to an oral paper or poster presented from abstracts submitted at the Annual spring meeting concerning the science and practice of radionuclide imaging of the skeleton or bone densitometry.

Muriel Buxton-Thomas Memorial Prize - This is a new award which will be awarded to an oral paper or poster presented from abstracts submitted at the Annual spring meeting concerning any aspect of Radionuclide Oncological imaging and therapy.

Physics Prize - This is a new award which will be open to all proffered papers on topics including: all aspects of radiation protection (dose assessment, work practice etc.); Monte Carlo method; Image/dose optimisation; Equipment/software assessment and characterisation: Novel techniques/image analysis.

Preclinical Prize - This is a new award and will be awarded to the best overall presentation, oral or poster, focusing on all aspects of research that is before clinical involvement, or biological studies that help understand clinical studies. This can include:

Oral abstracts are judged by the session chairs during the event

Poster abstracts are judged during the lunch breaks on Tuesday 23rd May and Wednesday 24th May

If you wish to make amendments to your authors/affiliations please contact carolineoxley@bnms.org.uk to provide the details.
Changes to the abstract itself will not be permitted once the abstract has been submitted and you have received your confirmation of email.
If you wish to withdraw your abstract submission please contact carolineoxley@bnms.org.uk to provide details of your abstract and reason for withdrawal.
