Getting to Norwich

By Car

Norwich is only 110 miles north of London, 66 miles from Cambridge, 121 miles from Nottingham, 159 miles from Birmingham and 170 miles from Oxford. And it’s easily accessible by road from major ports and airports. The main routes into Norwich are the A47, A11, A140 and A146.

Parking

Car parks in Norwich are well priced with cheaper rates for groups at the Park & Ride (6 sites) and parking in the city centre from £6 for over 6 hours.
Several multi-storey and surface car parks are located within the city centre, Chantry Place and The Forum are closest to the venue. Others are at Riverside, Castle Quarter, St Andrew’s and John Lewis.

By Train

The Train station is approx 20 minutes walk or a 12 minute drive to the Assembly House

With advance fares much cheaper than you think and a journey time of just 90 minutes from London on some services on Greater Anglia.

Come cross-country from Liverpool direct or pick up the train from Peterborough, Nottingham, Sheffield or Manchester. We’re within easy reach. And the service from Kings Cross via Cambridge opens up even more options for hassle-free travel.

By Coach or Ferry

National Express coaches operate services all over the UK and to and from the continent (Eurolines) from Norwich.
You’ll find great value coach travel to Norwich with megabus from a number of places in the UK including, Birmingham, Cambridge, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol, Cardiff and many more.

The nearest ferry port to Norwich is Harwich. Routes are from the Hook of Holland (Netherlands) operating twice a day, taking on average six hours.
From Harwich, you can travel to Norwich by car, taxi or train. By car, you will reach Norwich in just under two hours. By train, the duration is just under one hour and twenty minutes, with one change.
