CPD

This course provides 15 CPD credits in accordance with the CPD Scheme of The Royal College of Radiologists
The objectives are:

  1. To gain understanding of international Guidelines in Paediatric imaging and focus on Gastric paediatric imaging.
  2. To gain understanding of Guidelines in V/Q imaging. To include updates on protocols, techniques and image interpretations.
  3. To evaluate feasibility, challenges in implementation of contrast imaging in Nuclear Medicine.
  4. To gain understanding of new therapeutic strategies and radiopharmaceuticals on the horizon in Nuclear Medicine.
  5. To review recent trial data and implications to therapy in Prostate and Thyroid malignancies and NET.
  6. To explore the role and practicalities of dosimetry.
  7. Basic update on radiopharmaceuticals & challenges in provision in U.K.
  8. To evaluate the role of standardised reporting protocols and potential advantages / disadvantages for clinical staff.
  9. To evaluate the role of nuclear medicine in women’s health.

Poster Pitches

Poster Pitches will consist of rapid fire 3-minute PowerPoint presentations delivered in the exhibition hall during 2 of the refreshment breaks

BNMS Innovative Team of the Year Award & Cake cutting

Tuesday 14th May

The winner will be announced at 1.30pm in the Exhibition Hall

Delegates can to vote for their preferred team/project via the app - voting closes at 11am on Tuesday 14th May

The three finalist videos will be available in the conference venue for delegates to watch during breaks in the programme.
Voting will stop at around midday and the winning team will be awarded the Innovative Team of the Year 2024 plaque.

Molecular Radiotherapy Dosimetry Training Sessions

This is the 7th annual IDUG MRT Workshop, hosted by the BNMS.
This year’s workshop will focus on building foundation skills and knowledge base to complete some of the MRT competencies in the STP curriculum with a series of real-world scenarios to work through,
with both clinical and scientific context given.
You will require a laptop or tablet for these sessions
