Molecular Radiotherapy Dosimetry Training Sessions

Date: Monday 20th April
This is the 9th annual IDUG MRT Workshop, hosted by the BNMS.
This year’s workshop will focus on building foundation skills and knowledge base to complete some of the MRT competencies in the STP curriculum with a series of real-world scenarios to work through, with both clinical and scientific context given.
You will require a laptop or tablet for these sessions

Myocardial Perfusion Workshop for SPECT and PET - NOW SOLD OUT

In celebration of 1 year of collaboration between BNMS and ASNC (American Society of Nuclear Cardiology)

We present a unique and exclusive opportunity of first ever ‘Hands-on Myocardial Perfusion Workshop for SPECT and PET’ in BNMS Spring meeting.
You will have a chance to process images, learn from SPECT, and PET cases with world experts discussing technology, protocols, old and new tracers, and image interpretation.
No need to bring your laptop, we have got it all covered. BNMS organisers will arrange for your lunch bags, so you do not miss lunch! Please be there on time.

VARSKIN Workshop - NOW SOLD OUT

Date: Monday 20th April
FREE - Registration is required due to limited space
This VARSKIN bootcamp will have a similar structure and content to that in 2025. So, no laptops are required, and detailed notes will be provided afterwards. Only a very basic understanding of VARSKIN is required. There will be several example calculations of skin dose calculation in the first half. In the second half a more detailed introduction to alpha dosimetry will be given. Also , an outline of the Wound dose module for needlestick. An additional aspect will be an outline of a few "Hints and tips" to watch out for.

To celebrate our 60th anniversary we are giving each attendee a commemorative mug. These can be collected from the registration area on the lower foyer at these times during the conference.

BNMS Innovative Team of the Year Award & Cake cutting

Tuesday 21st April
The winner will be announced at lunchtime in the Exhibition Hall
Delegates can to vote for their preferred team/project via the app
The three finalist videos will be available in the conference venue for delegates to watch during breaks in the programme.
Voting will stop at at 11am and the winning team will be awarded the Innovative Team of the Year 2026 plaque.

BNMS Raffle

Just like last year, the BNMS are holding a raffle at the end of the conference.
At the final session 'Session 43 - Prizes & Closing Ceremony' you can pick up a raffle ticket at the beginning of the session and the winner will be announced during the session.
Make sure you attend to be in with a chance of winning a prize!
