BNMS Council Vacancies

At the next Annual General Meeting due to take place at the Annual Spring Meeting 2026 in Manchester (20 - 22 April 2026), Dr Arum Parthipun will be stepping down following his second term of office. 

Nominations are therefore invited from Full members of the Society, from any professional group to fill this vacancy on council.
Criteria for nominations:
*Nominations are open to all professional groups
*All nominees should have been a full member of the society for at least one calendar year at the time of their nomination
*Trustees must be available to attend 4 meetings of council and two other BNMS events per year, they are also expected to engage in communications between board members (primarily by email) as required.
*Council members' term of office is 3 years. If required, a postal ballot will take place shortly after the closing date for nominations.
