About Us
What is the BNMS?The British Nuclear Medicine Society (BNMS) is the only independent forum devoted to all aspects of Nuclear Medicine. Established in 1966 as the Nuclear Medicine Society, its membership includes the clinicians dealing with the medical speciality, clinical scientists, radiopharmacists, other scientists, nuclear medicine technologists and nurses. The BNMS is an organisation concerned with the clinical practice, education, research and development of nuclear medicine within the UK. Membership of the BNMS is open to those who have a substantial interest and involvement in the provision of nuclear medicine services. The Society is a registered charity, which works largely through its members to promote the clinical benefits of the specialty. The official journal of the society is Nuclear Medicine Communications.
