Aims of BNMS Medical Training Committee

Increase awareness of diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine amongst doctors-in-training and medical students.
Provide educational content for doctors-in-training and medical students to aid their understanding of working in Nuclear Medicine and the training pathways.
Provide opportunities for doctors-in -training and medical students to engage with the BNMS and improve their application for the specialties/training numbers.

Medical Training Essay Competition

You are invited to take part in the fourth BNMS Medical Training Essay Competition launched by the BNMS Medical Training Committee. 

Two top entries will be invited to present their work in a 7-minute oral presentation at the BNMS Annual Spring meeting in Manchester. The top two entries will also receive a certificate of merit, free 1-day registration to the conference and economy travel expenses will be reimbursed. (UK only).

BNMS Medical Training Committee Vacancy

The BNMS Medical Training Committee is seeking expressions of interest to join the Committee and be the Training representative on the BNMS Council.

Nominations are invited from NM Physician residents, Clinical Radiology residents, pre-specialist residents not yet in NMP/CR training or medical students and should be BNMS members.

Applicants must be available to attend BNMS Medical Training Committee meetings 3 times a year via MS Teams and BNMS Council meetings 4 times a year.
