Posted by: Caroline Oxley

The RCR and BNMS have established a nuclear medicine travelling professor to promote nuclear medicine and radionuclide radiology as a specialist interest in NHS consultant appointment and to provide nuclear medicine teaching at different hospitals across the United Kingdom. There is an opportunity for hospitals to avail of the training, particularly in centres where Cardiac CT is not routinely performed.

Nuclear Medicine Travelling Professor for 2024 is Dr Iosif Mendichovszky, Consultant Radionuclide Radiologist from Cambridge University Hospitals.

If you feel your centre would benefit from nuclear medicine training from the Travelling Professor, please request your department liaise with the RCR to organise a visit.
We encourage the membership to avail of this opportunity.
