STP MSc project Survey

30 October 2024   (0 Comments)
Posted by: Caroline Oxley

The survey is looking into the compliance of trusts with the UKRG guidelines on the Safe drawing up of radiopharmaceuticals in nuclear medicine departments.

What is the purpose of the research?
The purpose of this research is to determine compliance of UK NHS nuclear medicine (etc.) departments with the UKRG Safe Drawing up of radiopharmaceuticals in nuclear medicine departments. This will be performed via an anonymous survey, collecting responses to compare practises of dose draw-up from vials (kits) in radiopharmacies vs clinical settings throughout the NHS.

Should you take part?
It is requested that the person responsible for the area where the drawing-up of radiopharmaceutical doses occurs fills in the survey. This is to reduce the likelihood of duplicate responses. In the case where draw-up is performed in both radiopharmacy and clinical settings, the form may be filled in by two different personnel to demonstrate the different practises.

The survey will be open until 19th November 2024.
