Renogram Study Day
Renogram Study Day
7th December 2023 - Virtual meeting
Registration is now CLOSED
The Royal Free London Nuclear Medicine Academy and the British Nuclear Medicine Society Educational Series

We are pleased to announce another virtual study day

The Radionuclide Renogram course is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the standard renogram and special scenarios such as in paediatrics and renal transplants.

The course is aimed at professionals involved in performing these scans, including radiologists, nuclear medicine physicians, nuclear medicine technologists, radiographers, clinical scientists, and trainees in all disciplines.

The course will cover the basic physiology of the kidney relevant to renograms, how to acquire the scans and process the images, and how to interpret the scans. You will also hear from clinical experts on what they want from the renogram reports and how they use the renograms in their clinical work. The course offers an opportunity to practice processing scans and reporting scans using a virtual workstation. You will be able to build a portfolio of experience on renograms to help you perform these in your local practice.

By taking this course, you will gain a deeper understanding of radionuclide renogram studies and be able to apply this knowledge to your clinical work. You will learn how to acquire and process images, interpret scans, and report results effectively. This course is an excellent opportunity for professionals involved in performing these scans to enhance their skills and knowledge.

The objectives are:
  1. To refresh knowledge of renal physiology and how it relates to renogram imaging
  2. To learn how to acquire high quality renogram images, including modifications for paediatrics and transplant kidneys.
  3. To learn how to intepret renogram studies in a range of clinical scenarios.
