Tailored for healthcare professionals eager to master or enhance their reporting skills in DaTscan SPECT, FDG PET/CT, and Amyloid PET/CT scans, this course offers a comprehensive introduction to the neuroimaging landscape. We’ll guide you through the essentials of diagnosing and planning treatments for neurological conditions, including Parkinson's disease, Lewy Body Dementia, Alzheimer's dementia, and epilepsy, all through the lens of cutting-edge SPECT and PET imaging.

This event will provide 6 CPD credits in accordance with the CPD Scheme of The Royal College of Radiologists
Event objectives:

1.To understand the role of dopamine transporter imaging in the diagnosis of Parkinson's disease and Lewy Body dementia.
2. To gain experience in reporting dopamine transporter SPECT studies.
3. To understand how PET-CT can be used in the diagnosis of dementia and temporal lobe epilepsy.
4. To gain experience in the reporting of FDG and Amyloid PET-CT studies.
