This document sets out a prioritisation framework to assist nuclear medicine services in the allocation of imaging resources during periods of service constraint. Examples of these constraints could be shortages in starting materials like molybdenum-99, shortages in radiopharmaceutical kits or finished products, or during widespread constraints such as pandemics (e.g., COVID-19), natural disasters, geopolitical disruptions, or large-scale workforce shortages.
